Dynamic Bandwidth Management System implementation within ATHENA infrastructure

This paper describes the Dynamic Bandwidth Management System implemented in the ATHENA communication system platform deployed in the Bucharest ATHENA test bed. It presents a scalable approach using a two-stage architecture for managing the bandwidth in a heterogeneous communication system comprising DVB-T, 802.3, 802.11, 802.16 technologies.
