摘要

High cycle four point bending fatigue tests were carried out with samples fabricated by metalrninjection moulding (MIM) and conventional processing. The conventionally manufacturedrnsamples demonstrated an almost twofold higher fatigue resistance of 890 MPa than thosernfabricated by MIM, whereas tensile strength and ductility were comparable. The possiblernreasons are related to the presence of pores and the relative coarse microstructure of MIMrnsamples. The results are discussed in terms of mechanical properties, microstructure,rncomposition and fracture surface.
