摘要

Many parameters in algorithms and their mathematical formulations are in environmental models substituted by empirical constants, although it is well known that their values are very volatile. The ground of this simplification is in most cases the formula complexity when introducing uncertainty. This problem can be overcome with today's capabilities of the computer algebra systems. This paper discusses which approach to the parameter volatility is the most feasible one and how is the computation supported in Maple. As it introduced connectivity features, which were the domain of the general programming languages earlier, they can be used as full implementation tool including the practical data manipulation.
