Degradation of PCBs and other contaminants by electrochemical poeroxidation

Laborato4ry and pilot -scale testing of the Electrochmmeical Peroxidation Prcess (ECP) has been carried ot by the Environmentla Reseaarch Center (ERC) on various aqueous systmes and lurries ocntaminated with plkychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs),petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated soluvents.These include water and slurries from a subsurface stroage tank (SST) contaminated with chlornated solvents and PCBs,well water ocntaiminated with poetroleum heydocarbons,and groundwater contaminated with chlorinated solvents.
