摘要

As was established, elastic wave energy released in rocks under load is a function of crack size, and may vary by several orders of magnitude for different kinds of rock. The obtained energy dependence makes it possible to evaluate the dilatancy in underground locations which are inaccessible for direct observations. This method is proposed for the microseismic monitoring of rock massif to control and forecast possible rock damages during long-term exploitation of the storage.
