From October 1997 to February 1998,MidAmerican energy Company in cooperation with the Iowa department of fnatural resources,the U.S.EPA and iowa State university,conducted removal activities at 4 MGP sites.one site was under EPA lead and three sites were under kState of IOWA lead.Approxiately 25,000 tons of soil was excavated and thermally treated.the multisite bundling of htis rject and the cooperation betwen all aprties saved MidAmerican Energy Company approximately
