ENERGY CHALLENGES FOR EUROPE

摘要

All the challenges in the European-Russian relationship put pressure on the producer-consumer framework. These problems are obvious in the political overtones shaping the relationship - disruptions in the supply through Ukraine such as occurred in 2006 and 2009, and a variety of other problems. In order to improve the relationship moving forward, the EU and Russia need to recalibrate this regional producer-consumer framework.
