摘要

A method for simulating the time domain response of a bridge structure to various inflow conditions is presented in the present paper. For the simulations real time measurements with a rigid section model are coupled with a numerical time step procedure to determine the structural deflections. For the measurements, a balance is mounted on a servo controlled platform. A rigid section model of a bridge submerged in water is attached to that balance. The position control is performed by a computer that monitors the measured aerodynamic forces and solves the equations of motion. Thus a direct coupling between unsteady aerodynamic measurements and numerical structural dynamics is achieved. Unsteady inflow conditions such as gusts or turbulences can be simulated by changing the appropriate scale factors in the time domain.
