Prestressed concrete Full Containment Tanks are not limited in size as are 9 percent Ni steel tanks. With prestressed concrete, as the tank size increases, the concrete wall thickness and the circumferential prestressing are increased accordingly; practically without upper limits, and without changing the normal and proven design concepts and criteria.
