摘要

The techique of capacitive tensiography is applied to monitoring the formation of liquid drops under extremely slow growth conditions. Under these circumstances the effect of forces arising from surface tension due to drop dimensions become evident, and results are presented showing qualitative variations in the time evolution of drop formation over a range of flow rates, which support the expectation arising from simple physical arguments.
