Analysis of the reasons of Transmission Line Towers Yielding Caused by the Coagulated Ice in North Guangdong

摘要

The reasons of the freezing disaster and the various factors of tower yielding are discussed in the paper. Based on the investigation of tower yielding accident which appears in large area of North Guangdong, measures are proposed to avoid recurrence of similar incidents. Some helpful method to prevent large area tower yielding accident in the freezing weather is also provided in the paper.
