Abstract: Borehole Radar has been identified as the mostimmediately applicable electromagnetic technique todelineate disruptions to gold reef in the South AfricanDEEPMINE environment. The economically importantVentersdorp Contact Reef (VCR) has successfully beenimaged over ranges of up to 95 m and with resolutionsof less than a meter, using the Geosonde system with acenter frequency of 60 MHz. !1
