TRANSIENT THERMAL STUDY OF A VISCOUS TRANSMISSION

摘要

The present paper deals with the performances of viscous transmission submitted to a sudden change in rotational velocity, from naught to nominal velocity. Because of the particular destination of these couplings, their running is not long enough to reach the steady-state thermal regime. The mathematical model presented in this work allows us to calculate the bidimensional temperature field in viscous coupling.
