ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY QUALITY CHALLENGES FOR THE HIBERNIA PLATFORM

The framework for an effective Environmental, Safety and Quality Assurance Program isrnin place for both onshore and offshore Hibernia operations. The 11 Elements orrnPrinciples contained within the ESQ Management System (ESQMS) must be continuouslyrnimproved and applied to all aspects of Hibernia’s operations. Achieving fullrnimplementation of all of the Principles by all of the personnel is a challenging process. Inrn1999 Hibernia is continuing to increase ESQMS awareness through various meansrnwithin all work groups. This is key to creating a safety culture within the Hiberniarnorganization in order to achieve the goal of being recognized as an industry leader.
