Research on geographic information generalization in UGIS

摘要

UGIS is one of important application area in GIS, but geographical information generalization is a new challenge to technical progress of UGIS. This paper first analyze the causes and importance for geographical information generalization in UGIS. Aafter that, discuss the methods of generalization and especially put forward a kind of algorithm on base of UGIS.
