A web-based access to distributed heterogeneous geospatial data archives using NASA/s EOSDIS V0 protocol

Data and Information Access Link (DIAL) is a web based data server to archive heterogeneous geospatial data. The DIAL system once set up, can provide access to data to users with any web browser. DIAL provides viewing of data, metadata, subsampling, subsetting, plotting and downloading of data in multiple formats. DIAL can work as a stand alone data server or in a distributed mode in conjunction with EOS Data Gateway (EDG). DIAL is a NASA technology prototype product.
