Career counselling needs in a self employment era

摘要

The aim of this paper is to identify the typology of a career counsellor that addressed to people considering self-employment, the dedication of this people to the persons who wish to start their own business. This paper tries also to provide new insights relating to the impact of necessity and opportunity entrepreneurship on business survival. Using different statistic data, this paper analyze and find that the necessity of education in the professional area is important for the future entrepreneurs. In the end, there are presented some tools which could be used in order to define the proper profile of an entrepreneur in terms of personality, motivation, life experience and specific knowledge.
