摘要

This paper presents our vision for architecture andrndevelopment of spacecraft on-board software composedrnof well-defined building blocks called softwarerncomponents. This vision is derived from our work in thernDisCo and COrDeT studies funded by ESA and fitsrnwithin the on-board software harmonisation carried outrnby ESA. The paper is focused on software architecturernand corresponding engineering process which wouldrnleverage software reuse across different space missionsrnand reduce software development and integration costs.
