Two poly(ethylcyanoacrylate) nanoparticlepreparations prepared using either 100 or 600 mgmonomer encapsulating ovalbumin wereevaluated in terms of their ability to stimulate animmune response in mice. Following a primingand a booster dose (week 6) serum IgG wereobserved to be in the order Freunds >nanocapsules (600mg) > nanocapsules (100mg)> solution. No significant difference wasobserved between the two nanocapsulepreparations but a large variability between micewas noted for these systems.
