摘要

A three-dimensional mathematical model for pulverized coal combustion has been developed which describes gas fluid, volatile pyrolysis, char burnout, heat transfer, solid particle movement and NOx production in full scale furnace. Especially, an Arrhenius model was introduced to simulate the NOx emissions. The model can predict the levels of velocity, temperature, oxygen, carbon in ash and NOx content. Numerical simulation is more useful as a tool to investigate the influence of coal type on furnace performance related to differences in furnace design. This means can help boiler auto designing, optimum operation and fault diagnosis of boiler.
