Similarity Analysis of Heat and Mass Transfer in the Humidifier

In this paper the multi-phase flow in the humidifier is studied. At first the equations describing the process in the humidifier are deduced, which include the influence of evaporation and heat transfer of water drops. Based on this work the similarity analysis is carried out and some dimensionless numbers are introduced. The physical meanings of these dimensionless numbers are explained. Some principles of experiment research for the humidifier are given from these dimensionless numbers. Through dimension analysis some items in these equations can be omitted and the equations can also be simplified.
