Technical Discussion on the Incoming Gasifying and Melting Process of MSW

摘要

MSW treatment has become a worldwide concerned problem. An incoming generation treatment of MSW--gasifying and melting technology is introduced in this paper. The gasifying and melting process is regarded as the incoming and promising alternative of MSW incineration technology duo to its strict control on dioxins and high volumetric reduction ratio since 1990's. The characteristics and main merits of several typical furnaces of gasifying & melting were discussed in details. The principles and fundamentals about dioxins control and volume reduction of this technology are analyzed. At last, a novel gasifying and melting process for MSW with a pre-heating vessel is proposed with respect to the relatively low calorific wastes, in which a fluidized bed is selected as the main gasifier, while a moving bed is the pre-heating vessel. To pursuit high thermal efficiency, the air was heated by the high temperature flue-gas before injecting to gasifier.
