Production of Sulfuric Acid in Russia and the Main Directions of its Development

In this report the contemporary state of sulfuric acid production in Russia is considered. The raw-material base and the contribution of various branches to the general balance of sulfuric acid manufacture are presented. The main ways in which Russian sulfuric acid technology has advanced in the last decade are described - in particular, the development and introduction of a new, effective technological scheme for sulfuric acid production from sulfur. The direction of further development of sulfuric acid manufacture in Russia is presented.
