Research on Pedestrian Safety under Rapid Development of Motorization

摘要

Walking is one of the important traffic modes in Beijing central city, and shouldrnbe given sufficient attention. This paper, through a large of field survey and literaturernreview, analyzed and summarized the difficulties faced by walking traffic, includingrntraffic infrastructure, traffic environment and pedestrian safety awareness and suchrnissues under the rapid development of motorization and trip demand. A series ofrnensured measures were listed at the end to improve walking environment.
