Creep Rupture Data Assessments of Alloy 617

摘要

Alloy 617 is used for a spectrum of applications at temperatures in the range 600 to >1000℃. Although the alloy is used in the solution treated condition, different metallurgical characteristics determine the creep properties above and below ～ 800℃. The European Creep Collaborative Committee Working Group 3C on Nickel Alloys has performed three assessments on a multi-heat multi-temperature creep rupture data set for the alloy. The results of these are compared in the paper and recommendations are made regarding the rupture strength values to be used in an ECCC data sheet.
