Review of Component Testing and In-service Behaviour Comparison

ECCC WG4 reviewed existing component creep testing and compared experimental data with those characterizing component behaviour during operation. The objectives were very ambitious. To achieve results the working group first selected tests and provided assessment. Afterwards cases of in service components have been selected from a set of eight hundred equipments under investigation by ISPESL and VTT. The components have been chosen by selecting working condition and geometry similar to the ones considered.rnThe cases have been reviewed with respect to the analysis techniques used in the individual cases Finally the results have been compared with respect to different options of analysis.
