With the rapid progress of oilfield development technology,rnthe new completion method is playing a more and morernimportant role. A new completion technology not only opensrnformations, but it also improves permeability in formation asrnwell. This paper discusses the optimized application of completionrntechnology of adjustment wells at the later stage ofrnhigh water-cut on mature oilfield. This method well controlsrnthe initial water-cut of infill adjustment wells, as well as improvesrnthe initial productivity of new wells.rnThe infill wells modification will encounter many problemsrnin the mature oilfield, such as the horizontal variations betweenrnwells, the vertically difference of water content in fomations,rnthe pressure difference distribution in space, and thernscattering distribution of the to be modified. On the otherrnhand, the formations are all that with permeability less thanrn0.01μm~2. Completion technology is a key to make the productivityrnmore efficient. This paper discusses about the factrnthat under the geological condition of continental sedimentrnreservoirs with water-cut larger than 85%, after applyingrnadequate completion technology, it triples the productivity ofrnformations with permeability less than 0.01μm~2, thus it makesrna good economic result.
