Effects of Vehicles and Penetration Enhancers on Skin Permeation of Ondansetron

摘要

The effects of vehicles and penetration enhancersrnon the skin permeation of ondansetron wererninvestigated using excised hairless mouse skin. Thernhighest permeability coefficient of ondansetron wasrnobtained with d-limonene. N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidonernshowed the synergistic effects on both the solubilityrnand the permeation rate of ondansetron, when usedrnwith other enhancers employed. The solubilizer andrnpenetration enhancers investigated present thernpossibility of transdermal administration ofrnondansetron.
