摘要

Experimental closed-loop identification is shown to be an attractive alternative to performing open-loop bump tests. Modern tools dedicated to the analysis of the experimental data have facilitated the task of estimating parameters for the dynamic models. Moreover, some processes cannot be left off-control for the execution of a bump test, making closed-loop identification the only modelling option. The methodology for closed-loop identification, and subsequent controller tuning, is demonstrated for a chlorine dioxide generator liquor level control loop.
