Extending the Durability of PVC Roofing Membranes

1. TINUVIN XT 833 is more effective than the UV absorbers CHIMASSORB 81 and TINUVIN 329 in maintaining the elongation of flexible PVC 2. TINUVIN XT 833 substantially extends the life expectancy of flexible PVC roofing membranes compared to conventional UV absorbers 3. Compared to the CONTROL, TINUVIN XT 833 more than doubles the service life of a PVC roofing membrane 4. TINUVIN XT 833 may be suitable for use in many other outdoor flexible vinyl applications 5. A test method for determining the efficacy of TINUVIN XT 833 in rigid PVC was proposed.
