Detection and Estimation of Signal Time of Arrival (TOA) for Wireless Location Based on Mible Telecommunication Network

摘要

Today wireless location is not only one of the ten hot telecommunication technologies, but also one of the important supporting technologies in the third generation mobiel telecommunication. In the paper, the principle of TOA location and the essentiality of the measuremetn of signal time of arrival (TOA) for wireless location are pointed out first, then detection and estimation of time of arrival (TOA) of random signal is mainly expounded and the performance of signla estimation is assessed. So the theory basis is provided for research and development of wireless location in the third generation mobile telecommunication system.
