In this paper, using redesigning driving and controlling circuit of liquid crystal panel to measure phase-only modulation characteristics of a commercial LCD. The LC molecule voltage range of realizing LCD phase-only modulation characteristics has been found. The experiment results have been given and analyzed. The results indicate that nearly 1.5π phase-only modulation has been obtained.
