Ethylene Acrylic (AEM) Elastomers New Developments for Demanding Automotive

Vamac~R ethylene/acrylic elastomer (AEM) is used in many automotive applications that require resistance to service fluids over a broad temperature range. The current Vamac~R product range consists of copolymers (ethylene and methylacrylate) and terpolymers (ethylene, methylacrylate and an acidic cure site). A short summary on new experimental polymers along with preliminary results will be given in this paper.
