Progress Report of the 1.5 m solar Telescope GREGOR

GREGOR is the new 1.5 m solar telescope assembled on Tenerife, Spain, by the German consortium of the Kiepenheuer Institut fuer Sonnenphysik, the Astronomischen Institut Potsdam, the Universitaets-Sternwarte Goettingen and other national and international Partners. The refurbishment of the building is almost finished. The manufacturing of the telescope structure and the optics is still in progress. After the integration of the new complete retractable dome in July 2004 the telescope structure, optic and post focus instruments will be assembled during the rest of the year. First light is planned during May 2005.
