Characterization of Dissolved Organic Matter and Genotoxicity in the Aniline Industrial Wastewater

With resin absorption chromatography technique,dissolved organic matter (DOM) of the wastewater from an aniline treatment plant was fractionated into six fractions:hydrophobic acids (HOA),hydrophobic bases (HOB),hydrophobic neutrals (HON),hydrophilic acids (HIA),hydrophilic bases (HIB),hydrophilic neutrals (HIN).The dissolved organic carbon (DOC),ultraviolet-visible (UV) absorbance and genotoxicity of the wastewater and fractions were determined.The DOC values of hydrophobic acids and hydrophobic bases show the main fractions of DOM,comprising 29.4% and 26% respectively.UV spectroscopy and the specific UV absorbance (SUVA) value indicated HOA contained the most aromatic compounds.The wastewater exhibited genotoxicity of 46.7 μg-4NQO·L-1,HOA and HOB made the main contributions to the genotoxicity of the total sample,comprising 44% and 31% respectively.%本文以某公司苯胺处理出水为研究对象,采用树脂吸附层析法将水样中溶解性有机物分离为疏水酸性物质、疏水碱性物质、疏水中性物质、亲水酸性物质、亲水碱性物质和亲水中性物质.考察了水样及各组分的溶解性有机碳含量、紫外可见光谱特征以及遗传毒性.结果表明,疏水酸性物质和疏水碱性物质分别占水样中总溶解性有机碳(Dissolved organic carbon,DOC)含量的29.4%和26%.疏水酸性物质中不饱扣芳香族化合物的含量较高,单位DOC的疏水酸性物质中不饱和芳香族化合物的含量也显著高于其他组分.本研究中所用苯胺处理出水的遗传毒性为46.7 μg-4NQO·L-1,其中疏水酸性物质和疏水碱性物质的遗传毒性分别占出水遗传毒性的44%和31%,是主要的遗传毒性贡献组分.
