On the Reconstruction of Inhomogeneous Surface Impedance of Cylindrical Bodies

A method whose aim is to reconstruct the inhomogeneous surface impedance of a cylindrical body from the measured far field scattering data is given. The scattered field is represented in terms of a single layer potential and the field values on the surface of the scatterer are obtained through the jump relations. Then the surface impedance is reconstructed directly from the boundary condition itself.
