A Novel Stay Cable System

摘要

This paper presents a novel stay cable system, which is exclusively for the tendons with parallel strands covered by a sheath pipes. Main features of the system are: 1) Individual strand replacement is allowable while ordinary jaws can still reliably be used. 2) Cables can reliably be anchored at bottom part of any kind of girders holding cable axis coincided with the web of girders. 3) A dehumidification protection system keeps all parts of strands under observable, controllable and reliable protected condition.
