A complete study of the clamped-mode LCC resonant inverterntogether with some of the control-to-output characteristics arenpresented in the first part of this paper. In the second part, a newncontrol method for the clamped-mode LCC resonant inverter is introduced.nWith this method the inverter is forced to operate with optimumncommutations and without handling reactive energy, thus minimizing bothnswitching and conduction losses. The corresponding design procedure isnillustrated with a design example. Finally, some experimental resultsnobtained from a prototype at the laboratory are also shown to validatenthe analysis and evaluate the proposed control method
