Edge based Finite Element Method - Boundary Element Method (FEM-BEM) is presented for three dimensional (3-D) electromagnetic computation at high and low frequencies. Surface edge element method (SEEM) for the surface of arbitrary shape targets is derived according to the geometrical properties of the basis functions. The numerical method is based on the H-A model that includes the differential and integral equations. Unlike the traditional electromagnetic formulation, this model keeps the major coefficients of the formulation frequency independent and hence the model can be used to solve wideband electromagnetic problems. The proposed method is implemented to compute the eddy current problems at low frequency and scattering fields at high frequency. Results from established methods are used to validate the proposed method.
