摘要

In this paper, we present an approach for interconnecting high-speed functional modules in the broadband centralized access node system. It is based on a simple shared-medium method with statistical multiplexing and Gigabit Transparent Asynchronous Transmitter/Receiver Interface (G-TAXI) scheme as a transfer mode. With this approach, we design the broadband centralized access node system with distributed configuration by using the inter-module communication block which connects two adjacent nodes with the rate of 1.25 Gigabit/second and provides fast ring-fault management functions.
