Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) is arnterrestrial broadband fixed wireless access (BFWA) radiorntechnology applicable as point to multipoint wirelessrnsystem operating at frequencies above 20 GHz. The mostrnserious impairment at these frequencies is rain fadingrnspecially in the tropical areas. Many techniques could bernused to overcome rain fading and applying Site Diversityrnas a possible solution to reduce the effect of rain. The rainrnattenuation in Malaysia was calculated and the effects of arnmoving rain cell over an LMDS system were analyzed.rnDifferent situations of interference according to thernposition of the rain over LMDS were elaborated. The siterndiversity was implemented and simulated based on thernITU-R to enhance LMDS using C/I ratio under rainyrnconditions with and without site diversity technique.rnDifferent cell sizes of LMDS with and without siterndiversity were considered
