Progress of slotted rod cable - Trend of optical fiber cable for access network in JAPAN

As the use of optical fiber cables penetrates into access networks, various kinds of characteristic are demanded for the optical fiber cables. In order to satisfy these demands, we developed several kinds of slotted rod cables. For the aerial distribution cable portion, for improved mid-span accessibility, we developed and commercialized the SZ-slotted rod cable.
