Wide discussed problem ofvalidity of the energetic approach for prediction of suspended sand transport in the surf zone is analyzed on base of the data f field experiment 'Norderney-94'. Follow the Bailard(1981) the theoretical concentration was calculated as proportional to the cube of the water velocity module. A theoretical suspended sand transport(SST) was calculated by multiplyigthe theoretical sand concentration and cross-shore velocity. The co-spectral analyze of the theoretical and the measured sand concentrations and the SST was performed.
