Application of image processing in topographical measurements of the corneal curvature

Abstract: In this paper, a technique extracting the misalignmentinformation in topographical measurement of the cornealcurvature is presented. First, automatic focus isintroduced to guarantee system alignment in thedirection of the optical axis. Secondly, movementinvariant is used to establish the centralized imagesof a set of rings in the image plane. Therefore,misalignment in the image plane is compensated byadjusting parameters of the optical system.!8
