CONTRIBUTION REGARDING THE DETERMINATION OF THE RELATIONS BETWEEN WEAR AND CUTTING SPEED IN THE TURNING OF THE MANGANESE STEEL TYPE T 105 Mn 120

摘要

This paper presents the conditions in where the experimental determinations have been mode in the turning in the manganese steet type T 105 Mn 120 treated with metallic carbide being fixed mechanicaLly, CNMO 12 04 08 - PP/IC 907, on the lathe type SN 400x1000. There is also presented the methodology to be determined the regression relation between the cutting tool wear and the cutting speed. A number of 10 experimental determinations were selected being among the most successful and their results were listed in a table. Be means of these experimental results, within the actual methodology, were determined the relations of regression for the calculations of the cutting tool wear and for the cutting speed one.
