Utilization of power electronic for the improvement of electrical power quality

The grate disadvantage of a.c. electronical power systems is the low quality of electrical energy. It is impossible to provide stabilization of voltage for electrical power consumers by utilization of modern means of voltage regulation. As a result blackouts take place as a reaction of automatic control system on the voltage deviation. New system of voltage stabilization is proposed in the report, which is based on the utilization of controlled shunt compensators of a transformer type.
