With the speeding up of globalization of world economy and global informatization, the world iron and steel industry has started a new round of restructuring. International trade becomes more active, and competition more intensive. More and more industrial capital moves from developed countries into developing countries at a faster pace, bringing together with manufacturing and labor-intensive industries, providing more opportunities for Chinese iron and steel industry to develop the market worldwide. In the past year, Chinese iron and steel industry had a historical development. The product mix is optimized, and the quality is improved steadily. The export increased and net import considerably decreased, contributing a lot to the sustained fast growing of Chinese economy. But, at the same time, we also see a lot of unfavorable factors facing the iron and steel industry in China.
