摘要

The fluidization of gas and magnetic fluid was investigated experimentally and numerically. The numerical simulation was based on a CFD (computational fluid mechanics) model. The free surface was tracked using the PLIC (piecewise linear integration calculation)-VOF (volume of fluid) algorithm. A qualitative analysis of the downward jet regimes using the maximum bubble pressure measuring system was performed and the experimental results were in consistent with the computed results. Quantitative agreement was also achieved for the upward jet system.
