FLOW FIELD DIAGNOSTICS BY LIP

摘要

A new method for measuring the density, temperature and velocity of N_2 gas flow by laser induced phosphorescence (LIP) of biacetyl (CH_3COCOCH_3) is suggested. The phosphorescence characteristics of biacetyl both in static cell and in one dimensional flow along a pipe with constant cross section are investigated theoretically and experimentally. the prospect of this method is also discussed.
