The ability to interpret and understand solid shapes from drawings is important for communication, especially for engineers. To investigate this ability, the authors attempted a research using oblique drawings of shapes consisting of combination of a number of cubes. The research is carried out by presenting one drawing as a question, and having the subject select the drawing from a group which is interpreted to represent the same shape as the original drawing. The results of the study are discussed to evaluate the difficultness of each problem and the recognition ability of each subject. In this second report, the distribution of the general recognition abilities of the subject, the factors which affect the recognition of shapes such as the number of cubes in the shape, the number of possible selections for each problem, the position of the correct selection are analyzed to investigate as how they influence the correctness percentage and answering time for each problem. The distribution of answering time for each problem is also analyzed. The difference in correctness percentage and answering time between the subjects who answered correctly and incorrectly is also compared.
